Wow what an amazing experience! The food was amazing and the thing that left us in awe was the service. They went above and beyond for us. We will def be coming back next time we are in town. Def recommend!
Great atmosphere with a large outside patio, our waiter was very attentive with great suggestions. The pastrami sandwich was amazing! My only suggestion would be to add some spices or even salt and pepper to the mac n cheese. Will definitely be coming back again!!! 👌😉
My husband and I have wanted to try this place for ever but it’s always packed! We finally got a table and right off the bat we were greeted with a smile by the host. Our server James was an absolute delight and the manager Josh was super friendly and helpful! We started off with delicious ice teas And a nacho appetizer that is enough to be a meal-first time ever that there has been an abundance of toppings leftover on the plate and not just naked chips. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs -and he finished it off with the garlic bread to clean the plate. I myself enjoyed the delicious beat salad with the mouth watering salmon.. and I’ll never be able to eat salmon anywhere else!! It was perfectly crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside!! The perfect addition to the capers and picked onions! (My personal preference would have been less of the candied walnuts but that’s just me) We finished it off with their skillet cookie and homemade mud pie!! The music selection was the perfect background volume and not so loud that anyone had to yell to conversate. All the staff was friendly and attentive. By far the most excellent dining experience we’ve had in a long time and now we understand why this place always has a full house!!
Stopped for a quick meal. Though it was a busy evening, the staff helped find a table and service was apologetic about any delays. He need not have been, compared to other places the service was quick and attentive. The food was served hot and the wait was short. It was tasty and filling even for a light meal. I didn't have time to enjoy a drink but most of the other patrons seemed to be having a great time.
The atmosphere of this area is amazing. So many shops, so much food. This place stood out to me, so I decided to take a chance. It was a busy night. Since solo, I decided to order takeout. The Cobb Salad was amazing. All fresh ingredients. Generous portions. Would have been enough for two! Service was fast and friendly. Though I did not dine in, it appeared that all guests were enjoying their time at Rooster Creek Tavern.
Great food! The wedge salad Mom had was bountiful--enough for two meals. It was filled with a great variety of toppings. The NY Style Pastrami sandwich has to be the best thing on the menu. Plenty of meat and banana peppers, perfectly sauced, and a great size. Chili broccolini was flavorful. Perfect size for a side. It's in the village, so it's pricey. However, the flavor and portions nearly make you forget the price.
This place has a solid menu. I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. Sat outside on the patio, what a beautiful day.
Great service, Victoria was my waitress and she was wonderful! Very accommodating with dogs on the patio. Food was solid. Pastrami sandwich was delicious although the fries came out lukewarm - this always makes me sad. The salmon on the salad was delicious but I missed “berry yogurt dressing” on the menu and it was not my favorite. It tasted like creamy milk was on the lettuce, without any other flavor. I wouldn’t order that again, it seems like a strawberry vinaigrette would be a much better option for this salad. But who am I to say!!! Just not for me. Thanks for the pleasant experience.
Food was delicious. We had the tri tip sandwich, calamari, pulled pork sandwich, and grilled chicken sandwich with a blackberry old fashioned.
What an incredible good establishment! The food was truly out of this world! Their pepperoni pizza is some of the BEST pizza I've ever eaten in all my life! The service was great also, our waiter constantly came back to our table to ensure we had everything we needed. Rooster Creek Tavern is one of the BEST places to eat in the entirety of the Pismo Beach area! 5 stars across the board!
